This will be an opportunity for you to learn about what was found during the Big Dig weekend and subsequent test-pits that were opened (and closed!) across Anstey as part of the Charnwood Roots Project.
14:00: chance for volunteers, families, children, and locals to see up close what was found and chat informally with Charnwood Roots staff, volunteers, and archaeologists
15:00: talk delivered by Mat Morris and Julie Attard
16:00: Questions and refreshments
This will also be an opportunity for homeowners to collect individualised test-pit reports and the artefacts that have been collected!
