Archival Research Launch

Event Details

  • Date:

Would you like to help us research the working lives of communities across Charnwood Forest?

Within this strand of the research, we will need to conduct research on a vast array of material, and so we are confident that you will find something to work on that interests you. This might include anything from surveying the number of licensed premises within Charnwood, assessing historical mining activities, exploring local trades and trading networks, or examining the hosiery and footwear industries, plus many more exciting possibilities besides.

You don’t have to have any previous of experience of archival research to take part as training and support will be provided. At the launch event, we will be explaining the range of options open to you and how this part of the project will work.To reserve your place, please click the following link: http://shop.le.ac.uk/browse/product.asp?compid=1&modid=1&catid=759The event is free.
