This event finished on 03 September 2014

For those of you interested in helping us to research the medieval history of Charnwood Forest, we will be offering a free, ten-week training course in medieval palaeography (old handwriting to you and me) for beginners, starting on Wednesday 3rd September 2014. Learn how to read and understand 13th-15th Century documents like lay subsidies, manorial surveys, charters, rentals, accounts, and court rolls and what they can tell us about everyday life in Charnwood hundreds of years ago.

The course will be held on Wednesday afternoons 4-6pm at John Storer House, Wards End, Loughborough. Contact us to book a place.
